CAROB AND RASPBERRY OATS

As you can probably tell breakfast is definitely my favourite meal of the day! This recipe is my adaptation of Naturally Stefanie’s chocolate raspberry oats. It’s so simple to make and a delicious way to keep you feeling full for the rest of the morning.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • ΒΎ cup quick oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbs carob powder
  • Β½ tbs pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbs nut butter
  • 1 cup of frozen raspberries

Directions

  • In a bowl mix together carob powder and oats, then add in the almond milk and maple syrup, stirring until well combined
  • Microwave for approximately 2 minutes or until no liquid remains, if there is still liquid present continue to microwave for 30 second intervals
  • Drizzle with nut butter and top with frozen raspberry chunks
